Gee’s Weekly Blog #1 – Easter, Weather and Smarties

So it’s time for another really bad blog, but hopefully it will be grammatically and punctually correct, unlike some *cough* Chris *cough*.

Now everyone loves Easter holidays, two weeks off school and more chocolate than it was ever thought possible to consume. But thankfully, I don’t like chocolate so I had no reason to gorge on it.

But it seems I didn’t enjoy my holiday as it should have been enjoyed. However, I got my serotonin from the Sun rather than chocolate. Finally, spring has arrived and it is actually sunny! I wish. It’s England; we only see Sun for about five minutes when it sets in the evening. Thankfully it’s not raining so I can’t complain.

Being the optimist I am, I refused to wear a coat, hat and gloves that were needed for today’s weather, I wore my flip flops. Looking possibly like a tourist, I froze whilst walking home and got quite a few strange stares from people. Then, when I finally arrived home I was grilled by my mother who insisted I should have worn about seven jumpers, three pairs of socks and snow boots.

I’ve noticed my blogs are becoming more of an excuse to complain so I’ve decided to end on ‘The Lighter Side’, I had my first Smartie today, and I’m proud to say it’s the only chocolate I like.

Bye for now, love Gee x
